We start off with the end of Darkseid invasion, which lasted a week! Apparently, it wasn’t to conquer earth which was what the Justice League had originally thought but to get the other half of the Anti-Life Equation and to do that Darkseid would have to take a certain someone from the Justice League and he succeeded. You know that Darkseid is one of the strongest villains that the Justice League ever faced purely from the fact that Darkseid invasion lasted a week just so he can take something without the Justice League noticing.

We soon find out that the person that Darkseid took was Cyborg and we find out because Batman had put a tracker in Cyborg without his consent and the league feels betrayed by this and they talk about it for a second then they just get over it. I hope they come back to that because it is an important aspect of the story and skipping the issue, I think is a bit lazy.

After that altercation, we are on Apocalypse where cyborg was taken. I like these few pages because even when captured Cyborg still feels like Cyborg. making jokes even though he might die I miss this side of him because in the movie acted more like a Batman type character and that felt off to me. Then we get Darkseid calling Death (Black Racer) so that Cyborg doesn’t die, but because of that, something terrible happens then Cyborg returns to earth he unleashed a deadly virus to the web, and this is where everyone becomes a Zombie.

This was one of the most intense first issues I have ever read! not only is the story incredible and horrifying but that art perfectly captures each scene the way it is supposed to be. The infected scratching their head and face off because of too much information the received into their bodies look both incredible and disgusting at the same time. This is something that we should work towards in the film universe, but we know that’s not going to happen anytime soon.

Must get! If you want amazing art, great start of a story, if you are a horror fan this is an issue you must pick this up in stores right now! I bought this issue today after reading it and I honestly have no regrets.[/vc_column_text][vc_images_carousel images=”21131,21125″ img_size=”500×386″ speed=”3000″ autoplay=”yes” wrap=”yes”][vc_images_carousel images=”21124,21126,21127,21128,21129,21130,21132,21133,21134,21135,21136,21137,21138,21139″ img_size=”411×632″ speed=”3000″ autoplay=”yes” wrap=”yes”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
