In honor of X-Men day, our favorite Merc with a Mouth aka Ryan Reynolds tweeted out his appreciation for the role of Deadpool, calling it the “greatest gig of my life”. You can see the tweet down below:

Reynolds first portrayed a different version of Wade Wilson in the 2009 X-Men Wolverine: Origins, which could have been the end of his career as the well-known character. But, after staring in two of his own solo movies, people are in love with his performance. So much so that he is the only person from the Fox Marvel universe to be carried over to Disney’s Marvel Universe, as they’ve stated that a third Deadpool with Reynolds will happen.
X-Men: Dark Phoenix comes out soon, and even though Disney does have New Mutants set to release still; people are regarding Dark Phoenix as the end of the Fox X-Men franchise. How do you feel about the end and Ryan Reynolds’ journey as Deadpool?
