[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”10173″ img_size=”600×300″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Despite season three of Netflix’s Daredevil ending on a positive note, which could have been a nice bowtie for the series, we the fans still want more. In the wake of Iron Fist and Luke Cage being canceled and Disney’s streaming service coming in 2019, it suffices to say that everyone is a little unsure about the future for these Netflix Marvel shows.
It seems though that the stars of Daredevil are still hoping for a season four. We know that Charlie Cox would want a return of Jon Bernthal’s Frank Castle, but in a video interview with Deborah Ann Woll, the actress reveals what she’d like most for a season four in relations to her character, Karen Page.
“I don’t get to work with women a lot on this series. I think it would be really wonderful to have another female character come in that specifically Karen could work side-by-side with.” Woll told The Wrap.
Throughout the Netflix series, we’ve seen Colleen team up with Claire Temple and Misty Knight, Jessica Jones and Trish bond, and some other awesome female team-ups. But, as for Karen, her interactions are mostly with the boys. Between Matt, Foggy, Frank, Ben, Ellison, and even a scene with Billy Russo, Karen’s small interactions with other women has been limited to a small moment with Marci (Daredevil season 1), Trish Walker (The Defenders), and Dinah Madani (The Punisher season 1).
Woll also went on to describe Karen as a “lonely figure” and we saw in season three why she decides to keep people at arm’s length. Having finally revealed to Matt and Foggy her past, and the way season three ended, I can only hope that Karen can allow herself to have closer bonds, and not be weary of letting people in.
Right now, you can watch Daredevil season three on Netflix and we don’t yet have release dates for The Punisher season two and Jessica Jones season three.
