Denzel Washington and Antoine Fuqua are a duo that has proven time and again that they can deliver edge-of-your-seat thrillers that keep audiences on the edge of their seats. From Training Day to The Equalizer franchise, these two have managed to create some of the most exciting films in recent memory. And now, they are teaming up once again for their next project, The Escape, according to GFR.

Set to hit theaters sometime in the near future, The Escape will see Washington and John Boyega teaming up as two prisoners who devise an elaborate escape plan. This will be Boyega’s first collaboration with Fuqua, but if their past films are any indication, audiences are in for a real treat.

Washington and Fuqua have been working together for over two decades now, and their collaborations have always been something to behold. The two first teamed up for Training Day, which earned Washington his second Oscar for Best Leading Actor. Since then, they have worked together on all three films in The Equalizer franchise, as well as the 2016 remake of The Magnificent Seven.

With The Escape, it seems that the duo is aiming to create another intense thriller that will keep audiences on the edge of their seats. The film promises to be a gripping and suspenseful ride that will showcase Washington’s and Boyega’s acting chops as they play two men trying to escape a high-security prison.

While Boyega may still be best known for his role in the Star Wars sequel trilogy, he has been branching out into more diverse roles in recent years. With his recent appearance in The Woman King and his upcoming reprisal of the role of Moses in Attack the Block 2, it seems that he is determined to showcase his range as an actor. And working alongside Washington and Fuqua will undoubtedly be a great opportunity for him to continue to hone his craft.

As for Washington and Fuqua, it’s clear that they have a formula that works. They know how to create intense and engaging thrillers that keep audiences coming back for more. And with The Escape, it seems that they are once again poised to deliver another hit that will leave audiences breathless.
