Disney Announces New Movie Dates for Black Widow, Mulan, and More

If you didn’t know, many movies have been delayed due to the COVID-19 outbreak. With some films not having new release dates, Disney is offering insight on when you can expect some of their films to be shown. Here are some of the things you should know: first is, Artemis Fowl will directly hit Disney+ rather than going to the movie theaters.

Here are others:

  • Black Widow, which was meant to be released this month, will now premiere in theaters on November 6th.
  • The Eternals was supposed to be released on that date, but will now be released on February 12th of 2021.
  • Shang-Chi will hit theaters on May 7,
  • Doctor Strange 2 will hit the movie theaters on November 5, 2021.
  • Thor: Love and Thunder will now be released on February 18, 2022.
  • Black Panther 2 keeps its May 8, 2022 date.
  • Captain Marvel 2 will hit theaters on July 8, 2022.

While it may be disappointing that some of these movies are pushed back further than expected, we should expect that life, including movies to be in a strange place for the immediate future. At least there are solid dates instead of the “indefinitely” title that Black Widow and others had before.

Here are some other dates:

  • Mulan will hit July 24th of this year.
  • Jungle Cruise will be released on July 30, 2021.
  • 20th Century’s Ryan Reynolds’ Free Guy will be released on December 11th.
  • Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story will still be released on December 18th.
  • The Last Duel will still hold its December 25th
  • Wes Anderson’s The French Dispatch moves from July 14th and October 16th.
  • The untitled Indiana Jones movie will move from July 9, 2021 to July 29, 2022.

What do you think about all of the new Disney dates? Do you think they’ll hold?
