Disney+ To Bring David Gleeson In to Helm ‘The Grimm Legacy’ Film

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”14939″ img_size=”446×299″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Polly Shulman’s young adult books The Grimm Legacy are getting adapted into a Disney+ film by David Gleeson, which may become a franchise for the upcoming streaming service, which is set to come out later on this year.

The Grimm Legacy was first published in 2010 and consists of three books, which would make for a fine trilogy if successfully done. The Grimm Legacy, The Wells Bequest, and The Poe Estate are the three that encompass Shulman’s series and it follows a group of teenagers who work at a library in New York City that gives magical items out to people from the Grimm collection.

Have you read Shulman’s trilogy and are you happy to see is being adapted by Gleeson, who was tapped to co-write the screenplay for Tolkien?
