Disney has officially announced that the live-action reimagining Moana will be available to own on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on October 6, 2026. The film is currently available on Digital. The film, directed by Thomas Kail, stars Dwayne Johnson, Rena Owen, John Tui, Frankie Adams, Jemaine Clement, and Catherine Laga’aia.
Families will have the chance to dive even deeper into the world of “Moana” with a slate of exclusive bonus features that extend the fun beyond the film, including a sing-along version of the movie, a behind-the-scenes look at costume designer Liz McGregor’s work and exclusive interviews with the cast and filmmakers. The digital and Blu-ray release also includes an up-close look at the film’s choreography, the making of the village of Motunui and more, offering laughs, surprises and an exclusive look at the world-building of “Moana.”
The 4K UHD will be presented in a special SteelBook packaging featuring Dwayne Johnson as the shape-shifting demigod Maui and breakout star Catherine Lagaʻaia as the fearless wayfinder Moana, alongside her pet pig, Pua, and her perpetually confused rooster, Heihei.
