Doctor Strange’s Scott Derrickson Returns for Sequel

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”11655″ img_size=”900×450″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Stephen Strange may have disappeared with the snap in Avengers: Infinity War, but Doctor Strange is getting a sequel and is bringing back Scott Derrickson to direct. Benedict Cumberbatch will reprise his role, as well as Benedict Wong. Rachael McAdams is likely to return. A writer for the script is being sought out now.

While Strange gave us a mystical performance in his solo movie, it was in Infinity War that we realized that he is most likely one of the most powerful in the group. Which, made his disappearance all the grimmer. What are you to do when you don’t have someone who can bend space and time?

According to The Hollywood Reporter, a script is being eyed for 2019, production in 2020, and hopefully will be able to hit theaters in May of 2021. While that may seem like a long time away, let’s reflect on how quickly the past ten years of the MCU has gone by.

Unfortunately, Derrickson was one of the many to be affected by the fires in California, so we are happy to see him back in action and we know he will give us a sequel worthy of Doctor Strange.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
