In case you forgot, 1996’s Space Jam is getting a sequel. The original film starred basketball legend Michael Jordon with all of the Looney Tunes classic characters, including Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck. Space Jam also featured other famous basketball stars, as well as Bill Murray and Wayne Knight. As you can imagine, Space Jam 2 will also have a lot of recognizable faces.
One being Don Cheadle. The insanely talented actor’s role has not been revealed yet by himself, but it seems someone else decided to make the reveal. Don Cheadle works alongside Paul Scheer on Black Monday and Scheer gave us some insight onto Cheadle’s role:
“Actually Don Cheadle, who I do Black Monday with, he’s the bad guy in Space Jam [2], and he said LeBron’s really great. He was great in Trainwreck too.”
A villain you say? Cheadle is a phenomenal actor and can play anything, but comic fans are used to Cheadle playing good guy War Machine in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Granted nothing is confirmed yet, as Cheadle is keeping his lips sealed.
