[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”27049″ img_size=”800×450″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]It’s official: cinematographer Greig Fraser will be joining The Batman crew.
Fraser has shot several critically-acclaimed movies including Lion, Zero Dark Thirty, Vice, and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. He will soon be adding Dune to his collection of work which will be released in 2020. Fraser’s last collaboration with The Batman director Matt Reeves was for his 2010 film Let Me In.
“It’s great to be working with Matt again,” said Fraser in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter. “The Batman franchise is iconic and its a privilege to now be able to visualize it in my own way. Especially with the cumulative creative potential of all the talent and technicians we have in front of and behind the camera.”
Last week, rumors were going around saying that Once Upon A Time In Hollywood cinematographer Robert Richardson was on board to shoot The Batman but Richardson denied the claims, saying he never spoke to Reeves.
Warner Bros.’ The Batman is slated for a June 25, 2021 release.
