In times of strife and conflict, it is often the innocent who suffer the most. Children, untouched by the decisions that plunge regions into battles and ideological wars, find themselves caught in the crossfire of circumstances beyond their control. This harsh reality forms the backdrop of “Edenfrost,” an upcoming four-issue comic series by the talented duo, writer Amit Tishler and artist Bruno Frenda, in collaboration with Mad Cave Studios.

The narrative of “Edenfrost” unfolds in a war-torn setting, chronicling the ordeals of two teenagers, Alex and Yuli, who tragically fall victim to this conflict. In a horrifying turn of events, their peaceful village is engulfed in violence that they struggle to comprehend. Miraculously, they receive aid from a mysterious rock-like entity, arriving just in the nick of time to rescue them. Though ignorant of its origins and purpose, Alex and Yuli must escape their assailants. With no one to rely on but each other, they set forth on a perilous journey, laying the foundation for the gripping saga that is “Edenfrost.”

Amit Tishler, a proficient animator and visionary creator, has recently partnered with Mad Cave Studios to unleash a series of new graphic novels and comic series, with “Edenfrost” leading the charge. Tishler, passionately dedicated to this venture, shares the profound message embedded within this inaugural four-issue series. On the other hand, artist Bruno Frenda expresses his enthusiasm for collaborating with Amit on this enthralling project.

Amit Tishler states, “Edenfrost is a deeply personal and pertinent story, born from an amalgamation of my own philosophies, interests, family history, and artistic passions. I wanted to create an epic journey that’s exciting and entertaining but also delivers a nuanced and insightful message about the concept of identity.”

Frenda echoes the sentiment, “Edenfrost is a project to which I am particularly committed, as it is the first time as an artist that I have been entrusted with a complete miniseries. I had the opportunity to challenge myself as a complete artist, processing the pages from the layouts down to the colors.”

“Edenfrost” is an exploration of identity amidst chaos, merging historical authenticity with a touch of fantasy. Readers will journey through a tumultuous period of human history, witnessing it through the eyes of young protagonists, Alex and Yuli. The relevance of their story to our present-day world is a crucial aspect of this narrative.

Mark your calendars for November 22nd, when “Edenfrost Issue 1” by Amit Tishler, Bruno Frenda, and Taylor Esposito is set to captivate readers. Pre-orders for this thrilling debut can be made on Mad Cave’s Subscription site, promising a journey into a world where resilience and determination battle the darkest of circumstances. Stay tuned for a tale that will resonate long after the final page is turned.
