Elizabeth Banks Will Direct and Star in Upcoming ‘Invisible Woman’ Reboot

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”32403″ img_size=”900×506″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Elizabeth Banks is continuing her work as a director, with Invisible Woman as the next title she will bring to life. Set to star and direct, she will produce the film as well, along with her husband Max Hendelman via Brownstone Productions.

The 1940s original Invisible Woman explored a department store model who became the test subject for an invisibility experiment. Once invisible, she looks to get back at her cruel boss, but gets involved with gangsters soon after. The movie was a comedy, rather than the Invisible Man and Invisible Man Returns. What direction and feel Banks will bring to the movie, we don’t know, but it will be interesting to see.

Invisible Man is also coming out, starring Elizabeth Moss; and thus it seems that these Universal classic horror movies are finally being redeveloped after Universal abandoned the Dark Universe due to Tom Cruise’s The Mummy garnering such poor reactions.

Are you excited for Banks’ Invisible Woman?
