Hollywood-based Epic Pictures Group has officially announced the release of the gripping mystery thriller THE HUNTSMAN across North America. The film will arrive in select theaters beginning February 6, 2026, with digital rental and purchase available on video-on-demand starting February 10, 2026.
Directed by Kyle Kauwika Harris from a screenplay co-written with Steven Jon Whritner, THE HUNTSMAN is based on the award-winning novel by Judith Sanders. The film is executive produced by Frank J. Malinoski and features a stellar cast including Shawn Ashmore (X-Men), Elizabeth Mitchell (Lost), Jessy Schram (Mad Men), and Garret Dillahunt (Fear the Walking Dead).
The Story
What happens when an act of compassion places you face-to-face with a man suspected of unspeakable crimes—and the truth is far more dangerous than anyone expects?
THE HUNTSMAN follows an ICU nurse who volunteers to care for a coma patient accused of murdering six women. What begins as an act of kindness quickly spirals into a chilling web of lies, obsession, and deadly secrets, while a relentless detective races to stop the killer before it’s too late.
