While the January transfer window has already closed, Premier League teams will spend their summer planning transfers. In the last few weeks, Midfielder Bruno Fernandez has been linked to a move from Manchester United, while Chelsea has been closing in on players like Enzo Maresca.

Here are the latest English Premier League news and predictions for several top players in Europe.

Arsenal to seal a deal for Benjamin Sesko

Arsenal is currently in a race with their EPL rivals, Chelsea in landing one of the greatest prospects in Europe. The RB Leipzig forward lit up the second half of the 2023/2024 Bundesliga season, registering seven goals in his last seven games to take his league tally to 14 goals.

The Slovenian star joined RB Leipzig from Salzburg and rose to become one of the most coveted young strikers in Europe over the last 12 months. The aforementioned EPL giants, Arsenal and Chelsea are currently in a race to sign the forward, who has also attracted the attention of Paris Saint-Germain.

Arsenal are currently valuing the Slovenian forward at £ 45 million, but they will need to move fast to land him. The Gunners have also been linked with several other strikers, Sesko seems like a priority for them. As such, bettors who enjoy sports betting Ontario can bet on Sesko joining Arsenal this summer.

Joao Felix to Join Manchester United

In a surprising turn of events, Atletico Madrid’s Joao Felix might be headed to Old Trafford in an exchange deal for Mason Greenwood. The Red Devils made several attempts to sign the Portuguese international last summer, but Felix chose a loan deal for Barcelona. However, Felix struggled to secure a starting position in Barcelona, which prompted Atletico’s decision to consider other deals for the star player.

Atletico recently approached Manchester United for a swap deal for Mason Greenwood and the Red Devils seem highly likely to accept it. Greenwood has had a successful spell in the Spanish top flight while playing for Getafe on loan and Manchester United are looking to offload him. That presents a great opportunity for them to acquire Felix and offload Greenwood in this high-stakes deal.

    Barcelona’s Faye heads to Arsenal

While Arsenal might be focusing on Sesko, they need more iron in the fire. Mikel Arteta considers Barcelona’s Mikayil Faye the best way to boost his already strong backline. The 19-year-old can play the left-back and center-back positions, but he’s yet to secure a spot in Barcelona’s first team despite his high rating.

The Senegal native made his first senior-level appearance for his country at the African Nation earlier in March, notably scoring from a distance. Faye will be an ideal addition to Mikel Arteta’s side considering that Arsenal’s left and side back is an area of concern for the manager and his team is light in depth at the center back.

For Barcelona, they might be criticized for losing such a promising talent, but their financial situation means they are powerless to keep him. However, Arteta still needs to convince Faye that Arsenal is the best place for his growing career.
