Hollywood-based Epic Pictures Group is set to release the highly anticipated mystery thriller The Huntsman across North America. The film will debut in select theaters on February 6, 2026 and will be available for rent or purchase on video-on-demand beginning February 10, 2026.
Based on Judith Sanders’ award-winning novel, The Huntsman was directed by Kyle Kauwika Harris from a script co-written with Steven Jon Whritner, and executive produced by Frank J. Malinoski. The film features an impressive ensemble cast including Shawn Ashmore (X-Men), Elizabeth Mitchell (Lost), Jessy Schram (Mad Men), and Garret Dillahunt (Fear the Walking Dead).
A Chilling Mystery of Morality and Obsession
So, what happens when an act of compassion puts you face-to-face with a man suspected of unimaginable crimes? In The Huntsman, the answer is far darker than anyone expects. The official synopsis reads:
