We have seen, in our news; how much both affect today’s youth and it is the mission of filmmakers to bring these conversations to the forefront so that people can communicate easily about mental health, so to help others.
On May 10th, the film Just Say Goodbye will hit theaters in Los Angeles (as well as VOD and DVD the same day), which tells the story of a teenage boy who informs his friend that he is contemplating suicide. Geek Vibes Nation has been given an exclusive clip from the film which you can check out below.
Jesse Peterson has suffered years of abuse by his alcoholic father and Chase – the school bully. Sarah, Jesse’s best friend; promises not to tell anyone of Jesse’s plans, but she seeks out to do whatever necessary to stop her friend from harming himself. It is a young teen drama that is very much relevant for today’s time and one that will start the conversation, hopefully; so that the stigma of mental health is washed away and can be spoken about freely.
Just Say Goodbye stars Katerina Eichenberger, Max MacKenzie, William Galatis, Jesse Walters, Pamela Jayne Morgan, and Charlotte Cusmano Zanolli. Matt Walting directed the film, while Layla O’Shea wrote the script.
