    Aron Wiesenfeld

Throughout his career, artist Aron Wiesenfeld’s fine work has been showcased in 15 solo exhibitions, drawing the attention of fans worldwide. Among them are Oscar Award-winning filmmaker Guillermo del Toro and legendary cartoonists such as Mike Mignola, Jim Lee, and Kevin Eastman. Wiesenfeld’s striking large-scale paintings are celebrated for their dreamlike quality, often featuring evocative and solitary figures. These figures convey a sense of melancholy, isolation, and a transition from innocence.

    From Comics to “Playtime”

Before Wiesenfeld became a renowned and celebrated artist, he worked his magic as a comic book artist, where his exceptional art for Marvel’s “Deathblow/Wolverine” comic book series earned him an Eisner Award nomination. His striking comic book covers also played a key role in defining the tone of the groundbreaking series “Y: The Last Man.” Now, the artist is exploring a new storytelling medium with “Playtime: The Post-It Note Drawings,” a comprehensive collection of Wiesenfeld’s ink drawings on Post-it notes, which have never been published before and is coming to Kickstarter.
