‘Family Guy’ Officially Getting a Movie!

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”2755″ img_size=”980×490″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Last week the Wall Street Journal reported that FOX was looking to make a Family Guy film along with a sequel film to The Simpsons and a film based on Bob’s Burgers. After sixteen seasons, one of the most popular adult cartoons next to South Park is getting their own movie. While the movie has no release date or even a plot, it is reported that both Seth MacFarlane and Mila Kunis are on board to reprise their roles as Peter Griffin (Stewie and Brian) and Meg Griffin, respectively. Throughout the years, Family Guy has been known for making us laugh with its sharp humor and cut away scenes, but also provides us with some serious content from time to time.

The rest of the voice cast is also expected to reprise their roles and the film will mix live-action with animation, as seems to be the trend now with cartoons getting movies. The upcoming Lady and the Tramp film will feature a mix of live-action and CGI, so we’ll see in the upcoming year or so how this combination works out. It is also reported that the Simpsons will get a second movie, after their popular one in 2007 that was supposed to mark the end of the Simpsons. But, like all good things, we never want them to end and considering how well the first movie did, it’s time to release a second one more than ten years later.

How do you feel about this news? Do you want to see a Family Guy film or has that ship sailed? Leave is a comment below.
