Fan Theory on Why Captain Marvel Changes Her Uniform Colors

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]When we first saw Brie Larson in Captain Marvel set photos, we were all really curious as to why our superhero was wearing green instead of her traditional red and blue uniform. Obviously, from the recent trailer, Carol Danvers is sporting the costume we’re used to seeing her in. The question remains, why the color change? The style of the outfits look about the same, just with a color change. One reddit user pointed out an interesting theory as to why the heroine decides to go with red and blue instead of her green uniform.

“What if Phil Coulson suggests Carol to use the red and blue color schemes on her suit after she gets her memory since it’s already established he was a Cap fanboy and was responsible for designing Cap’s suit with the classic comic book look in Avengers 1.”

This is just a fan theory and there’s no way of knowing if it’s real or not, but it’s interesting to speculate. Either way, we know that the upcoming Captain Marvel film will take place in the 90s and will feature Danvers in both her Kree days and coming back down to Earth, where she will meet a younger Nick Fury and Phil Coulson. Captain Marvel hits theaters on March 8, 2019![/vc_column_text][vc_video link=”https://youtu.be/Z1BCujX3pw8″ el_width=”90″ align=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
