Michael Mando is the iconic voice for Far Cry’s Vaas and perhaps, we could be hearing him again. A recent Reddit AMA revealed Mando’s excitement and love for the character Vaas. It also teased the possibility of him returning as the character.
Mando was asked if he is still recognized as Vaas, to which he responded:
“Thank you so much! Vaas is my spirit animal – having co-created that character is something that will always be dear to me. I still get recognized as Vaas, and I still feel the outpouring of love for that character – makes me very happy. Who knows… maybe I will reprise the role very soon? :p Thank you for watching xo”
The only complication is that Vaas was killed in Fary Cry 3 – so, who knows how he could return as Vaas. A remake of the game? A show? There are plenty of possibilities and if Mando is interested and so well recognized for the role, perhaps it’s something that the big wigs in studios will consider.
