First Draft of Ant-Man 3 Featured The Villain M.O.D.O.K

Little is known about Marvel’s upcoming Ant-Man 3, but some tidbits have been released. According to DisInsider’s report from The GWW, Paul Rudd had written an original draft for the film. It would make sense considering Rudd has now played the character in four films; he has a pretty good grasp of his character as Scott Lang.

The report states that Rudd’s draft had featured MODOK and AIM and that they would have been the protagonists of the film. AIM had been mentioned in Iron Man III and will be included in Black Widow. It’s now reported that Fantastic Four was meant to be introduced in the Ant-Man film, but that idea has been scrapped. The studio is still trying to figure out how to introduce this iconic group, but it’s said that Young Avengers may be introduced.

Ant-Man 3 has brought on Rick and Morty writer Jeff Loveness, with Peyton Reed set to return to direct. With all of the MCU being pushed back due to the COVID-19 outbreak, there’s no production date yet set. When we know, we’ll let you know!
