First Glimpse At The Disney+ Series ‘Star Wars: Andor’

Disney is keeping Star Wars: Andor well under wraps. Since development began on the sci-fi spy thriller, we’ve had only bare details. Now, thanks to Star Wars source Bespin Bulletin, we have a hint at an interesting new mystery set. Let’s see what we can dig from this scoop!

The set’s alien, mathematical architecture is unlike anything we’ve seen in Star Wars before, so we can reasonably guess we’re looking at a new alien planet. It’s also partly dressed in green screen, which tells us they have something fantastic and improbable to insert.

Star Wars: Andor is a prequel to 2016’s Rogue One, and hails the return of Diego Luna as Rebel spy Cassian Andor. The show will also feature the talents of Stellan Skarsgård, Fiona Shaw and Genevieve O’Reilly (Mon Mothma!). It takes place five years before the film’s events and centers around Cassian’s early exploits with the Rebellion.

What kind of worlds will we discover when Andor premieres in 2022? Time will tell, but until then, we can look at these M.C. Escher-like angles and ponder! Drop us a line in the comments if you have any thoughts or theories.
