First Look: New Batman Comics For April

Batman is going to have to contend with some serious baddies this April. We have some awesome comic books on the horizon for you, with their details sent to us by DC themselves! Let’s take a look.

Batman #92

On April 1^st we get Batman #92. Writer James Tynion and artist Guillem March team up together to bring us an issue featuring Gotham’s newest villain the Designer. Planning the biggest heist in Gotham City, he’s going to be giving Batman a run for his money. It isn’t enough to try to stop the Designer, but he will also have to escape a death trap created by the Riddler himself. This isn’t just the average run of the mill death trap either, but the most ingenious he’s ever faced.

Batman #93

Then, on April 15^th, Tynion and March’s debut story concludes. Batman faces off against the Designer in the finish to their “Their Dark Designs”. With Batman having lost more than he could ever imagine, he must face an event that will change his life forever. As if he hasn’t had that happen to him enough. As they say though, there’s no rest for the wicked. In the midst of all of this, Batman will have to contend with the beginnings of the “Joker War”. Whenever the Joker is involved, you know it’s going to be intense.

Detective Comics #1022

Get ready for Detective Comics #1022 on April 22^nd. Ugly Heart hits part three in this Peter J. Tomasi and Brad Walker arc.
