We are getting a live action Powerpuff Girls series. Yes, you heard that right! The CW has released the first official image of the trio which stars Chloe Bennet, Dove Cameron and Yana Perrault. The series will also star Donald Faison as “Professor Drake Utonium,” Nicholas Podany as “Jojo Mondel,” and Robyn Lively as “Sara Bellum.” The official look and character descriptions are below.

Synopsis: Based on the original Cartoon Network animated series and characters created by Craig McCracken, the prospective CW series finds the formerly pint-sized superheroes as disillusioned twentysomethings who resent having lost their childhood to crime fighting.
