First Peek At The Live-Action Kim Possible Movie

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_video link=”https://youtu.be/tTVVEViB2ww” el_width=”90″ align=”center”][vc_column_text]Kim Possible was one of the most beloved shows on the Disney channel, featuring a kick-ass girl who we could all aspire to be. Now, they’re making a live-action movie and a sneak peek has been released.

Let’s get down to the details. Sadie Stanley plays the title character and Sean Giambrone plays Kim’s friend Ron Stoppable. Here is the synopsis:

Everyday teen hero Kim Possible (Sadie Stanley) and her best friend Ron Stoppable (Sean Giambrone) embark on their freshman year of high school, all while saving the world from evil villains. While Kim and Ron have always been one step ahead of their opponents, navigating the social hierarchy of high school is more challenging than the action-heroes ever imagined. With Drakken (Todd Stashwick) and Shego (Taylor Ortega) lurking in the wings, Kim must rely on her family and friends on Team Possible—Ron, tech-genius Wade (Issac Ryan Brown), new friend Athena (Ciara Wilson), and Rufus, a Naked mole-rat—to stop these super villains!

As far as the clip goes, well; it is a Disney channel film. We are certainly not expecting Hollywood CGI or “wow” stunt moves. This movie looks to be just a low-budget live-action rendition of a popular show that the studios are looking to capitalize on. But, in all honesty; I do not see those around my age to sit down and watch it. Rather it’ll be to draw in younger crowds who did not grow up on Kim Possible. It begs the question, did we need this? Most likely not.

Patton Oswalt returns to reprise his character Professor Dementor, who he voiced in the original animated series. Kim Possible hits the Disney Channel on February 15, 2019.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
