Fox Still Planning Multiple Man and Gambit Film

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”7136″ img_size=”800×450″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Disney and Fox may have made a deal, but that doesn’t mean that Fox is not moving forward with their X-Men franchise. With Dark Phoenix and The New Mutants set for a 2019 release, there seems there will be more to come, despite the deal set for completion mid-2019. Franchise producer Simon Kinberg confirms that the studio is moving ahead with such films as the highly-anticipated X-Force, Multiple Man, and Gambit, which has seemingly been in production hell for years now.

“Gambit has a great script and we’re looking to start that movie early next year,” he told IGN. “Multiple Man, that script’s being worked on right now,” Kinberg said, adding that the Deadpool 2 spinoff X-Force is only waiting for the release next month of Drew Goddard’s Bad Times at the El Royale, so the filmmaker can turn his attention to the script.

Deadpool has been one of the studio’s most popular franchise, so it is understandable why they wouldn’t want to give that up. We already got a small taste of the X-Force in Deadpool 2 and Ryan Reynolds himself had expressed how he’d like to do an X-Force film before a Deadpool 3.
