    GKIDS & Shout! Studios To Release The Anime Classic ‘Perfect Blue’ On 4K UHD Blu-Ray SteelBook This June

    Shout! Studios & GKIDS will release Satoshi Kon’s directorial debut Perfect Blue on 4K UHD Blu-Ray in an all-new limited edition 3-Disc SteelBook on June 16, 2026. The groundbreaking psychological thriller Perfect Blue has frequently been hailed as one of the most important animated films of all time.

    Special features accompanying the limited edition SteelBook release of the critically-acclaimed film include 117 minutes of lectures by director Satoshi Kon subtitled in English, “Angel of Your Heart” recording session and full English version, cast and crew interviews, and theatrical trailers.
