David Jaffe took to Twitter and put out a tweet talking about what type of game is designing /writing and that he is attempting to try something new with in-game storytelling also that he has no funding for this specific game.
I'm designing/writing something new these days. It's a single player, horror game that is attempting something new with in-game storytelling and I am in love with it.

I have shown NO ONE what I'm working on. And thus I have no funding and no interest in the project.
When I DO show the world,it MAY be that everyone hates it and no one wants to make it.
Or it may become the next big thing.

I find it refreshing that David Jaffe is working hard and is focused on a game that he can be proud of. Not worrying about the fans, Developers or publishers. When he finishes his project I really hope that it becomes his best work even more so than the God of War franchise and Twisted Metal.
