There’s not a whole lot that we know about 2020’s Green Lantern Corps movie, but we do have a rumor that Guy Gardner could be showing up in it.
According to a Reddit user by the name of journeyeffect, Geoff Johns’ Mad Ghost Production updated their movie page with some upcoming projects. In Green Lantern Corps’ spot, a picture with Hal Jordan, Jon Stewart, and Guy Gardner was used. This surely cannot be a coincidence? Why use a picture that includes Gardner if they are not going to use it? We already know Hal Jordan and Jon Stewart are the centers of the film, but Gardner could very well pop up as well.
Even though a lot is up in the air, Johns revealed to Comicbook.com his plans for a Green Lantern Corps script:
“I want to make sure I write the best script I can possibly write, so I need to go away in a cave and write that script and finish it and then come out and go ‘okay’ and work with the guys and really make sure we’ve got the best story to tell and the best way into this character. I think we have a lot of things in it that…people know my run from Green Lantern and so they shouldn’t be too surprised by seeing what we bring into it.”
