We at GVN aim to keep you informed of the newest and best in home entertainment week in and week out. For the week of February 6th, we have some incredible releases making their way to our shelves. Read on to get the full rundown of what you should have on your wishlist, plus take a chance to check out what Michael and I are spotlighting on The Video Attic this week.

This weeks finds the arrival of a hotly anticipated title around these parts as Disney welcomes the latest MCU sequel Black Panther: Wakanda Forever to 4K UHD Blu-Ray. This release comes with HDR and Dolby Atmos audio and new bonus features including a commentary track with director Ryan Coogler. Elsewhere in the land of super-heroics we find the newest DCAU entry with the Legion Of Super-Heroes hitting 4K UHD Blu-Ray courtesy of Warner Bros. This one features some heroes we do not get to see in the mainstream very often, so rejoice that we are getting something a little different! Be sure to check out The Video Attic below to get our first impressions of this one.

Last year, Shout! Factory rocked our world as they started releasing iterations of the long-running Japanese tokusatsu television franchise Kamen Rider with the first entry in the current Reiwa era, Kamen Rider Zero-One followed by Kamen Rider Kuuga. While tokusatsu television shows have started getting better representation on physical media over here in the US, having the Kamen Rider shows pop up has been especially exciting. Now, the company is releasing the complete run of Kamen Rider Ryuki, the third series to air in the Heisei era. This entry in the franchise finds the series taking risks and making choices that no other series prior had dared to try, such as having evil Kamen Riders. The mythology develops quite effectively over its 50 episodes, constantly calling you back for more. If you are a fan of the genre, you are going to want to pick this up to show your support for future releases.

In the land of the catalog releases, we have two eagerly anticipated titles making their 4K UHD Blu-Ray debut. First up we have the genre-defying Bruce Campbell cult classic Bubba Ho-Tep being released on the format courtesy of Scream Factory. This new release comes newly remastered with Dolby Vision/HDR and a deep assortment of interesting special features. Check out our discussion on The Video Attic below to learn more. Also debuting this week is the arthouse cinema masterpiece The Three Colors Trilogy from director Krzysztof Kieślowski, which can now be found newly remastered on 4K UHD Blu-Ray courtesy of The Criterion Collection in Dolby Vision/HDR with a nice array of legacy special features.

This is only a taste of the incredibly packed lineup you have to look forward to you this week. Be sure to check out the full list below after checking out The Video Attic where we discuss the Michelle Yeoh martial arts classic Magnificent Warriors from 88 Films, the bloody Korean action film Project Wolf Hunting from Well Go USA, the Oscar-winning musical Chicago newly released on Blu-Ray in a SteelBook, new releases from Mill Creek Entertainment, Warner Archive, Kino Classics and more.
