We have previously praised the incredible creative talent of Eisner-nominated creator Ibrahim Moustafa. This was in conjunction with two different interviews. First about his Humanoids books “Count” (his unique adaptation of the Count of Monte Cristo) and “Retroactive.” In addition to his work for Humanoids, Ibrahim has also worked with several other comic publishers, including Marvel, DC, Image, and Dark Horse.
On June 18th, the collaboration between Moustafa and Humanoids continues with the release of Ibrahim’s newest book, “CYN.” The synopsis for this book is found below:
CYN
Fleeing her bloody past as the masked cybernetic government enforcer known as Cyn, Meris is discovered unconscious by a former medic and his two adopted daughters. As they nurse her back to health and she struggles to adapt to a world far from the brutal life she was forced to lead as Cyn, two things become clear: her past isn’t ready to let her go, and she isn’t the only one whose dark, secret history is threatening to destroy their present.
Now, thanks to the great people at Humanoids and Ibrahim, we are proud to reveal these exclusive pages from this exciting project.

With its release approaching, Ibrahim is very excited about this project that he considers a very personal story:
Abrahim Moustafa
CYN is a project that’s very dear to me. It’s a much more personal work than my previous books, made during a very trying time in my life. At its core it’s a story about someone figuring out who they are after they’ve lost a piece of themselves and finding the strength to move forward while the past claws at their heels. I’m very excited and grateful for the opportunity to tell it.
Humanoids CYN by Ibrahim Moustafa, Brad Simpson and Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou hits stands on June 18th. You can find it where all great books are sold.
