Comic book cover showing several people in a bar, featuring a superhero in a blue and red costume with a star logo. Text reads: "Ahoy Comics No. 3 - My Bad: Escape from Peculiar Island.

Since its inception by Ahoy Comics and creators Mark Russell, Bryce Ingman, and Peter Krause, the series My Bad has been a success, enjoyed by both fans and critics alike. In the third volume, My Bad: Escape from Peculiar Island, the fun rolls on with Issue #3. Captain Ohio reminisces about the past, while Jamington (The Chandelier) Winthrop, with his crime-fighting career in ruins, takes on a startling new venture as a podcaster. Concurrently, Emperor King’s plot to conquer the Peculiar Islands begins to fall apart. Additionally, an adorable chimp causes chaos with gallons of corrosive acid. This and more awaits in the latest issue.

Now, thanks to our partners at Ahoy, we are proud to present this exclusive look at some of the pages for this hilarious tale:

An infographic listing the creative teams behind several comic stories. It includes title names, writers, artists, and a publisher logo at the bottom. A comic book page shows Captain Ohio, a superhero, and another character outside a fast-food restaurant, with the Ohio flag in the background. The dialogue includes references to setting and situational humor. A superhero converses with a shadowy figure outside a building, discussing a parked older model car (Ford Pinto). The superhero reveals a personal connection to the car through his father’s job. A comic page featuring multiple scenes: a man showing a young boy a briefcase, another man working on a machine, a superhero with a blue mask, and a conversation between a superhero and another individual. A group of students debate with a man sitting at a table with a sign reading, "I don't believe in kangaroos. Change my mind." One student takes a picture while others discuss and hold cups. A man in a headset speaks through a computer screen. An elderly man in green talks to a woman reading a book in a living room. The woman replies to the elderly man while sitting on a couch.

My Bad: Escape from Peculiar Island #3‘ by Mark Russell, Bryce Ingman and Peter Krause hits stands on July 17th. If you have missed the first two issues, it’s not too late to catch up. You can pick them up now at your favorite comic shop.
