While we may have diverse opinions on all types of things, films, comics, music, television, wrestling, etc., we know that there are always places to share common ground. Additionally, we can discuss our differences in a civil and respectful matter…while at the same time thinking the other person is crazy. We at Geek Vibes Nation are thankful for that gift. It’s part of the reason we exist. To give our many followers a forum to discuss their opinions and perhaps learn something along the way. The gift of sharing your passions will always be appreciated. We’re just fortunate to receive that gift everyday.

Journalism has existed for a long time, but it has been within the past ten years or so that being a ‘Geek’ is something to be proud of. There is so much out there for us to cover, for us to relate to others over. It has truly been an outstanding decade and as this comes to a close, I just have to be thankful.
Though, at times; fandoms can be toxic, they can also be communitive. Plenty of people have found their communities through fandoms and this might not have been possible just a few decades ago. What I’m saying is, that I am thankful for how the direction of cinema has gone, because it gives people like us an opportunity to have a voice. Thank you all for your continued support and we are only going to continue providing you with fantastic content in 2020.

What I’m Most Thankful for in 2019
Where do I begin? My Patriots won the Super Bowl and the Golden State Warriors imploded. What more can a guy ask for? Oh I know, we got the closure on 10 plus years of Marvel films with Avengers Endgame. It was there we got to see everyone we grew to love finally close the chapter on one of the largest journeys in cinema history. In addition, Kevin Fiege still made sure we knew we may not have seen the last of a lot the characters. I’m also very thankful for the Spiderman deal getting done and us as fans getting a third movie under the MCU banner.
This year has been amazing with shows like GOT, Power, How to Get Away with Murder, Empire, and Arrow all coming to an end. This had huge emotional implications for fans who have loved these shows since season one.
2019 has also been a very great year for movies. Way too many to name but that’s a lot to be thankful for. Mainly because cinema is something a lot of us felt was a dying breed. But this year has been huge with non superhero movies. We can only hope that trend continues in the future.
But, if I’m being honest, I am most thankful for everyone in Geek Vibes Nation. Without them, I wouldn’t have the ability to provide a platform for geeks everywhere to have their voice heard. We legit have the best Writers, Podcasters and social media influencers on the planet and I’m so thankful for them and all of our fans.
As we approach another year
You might have noticed a pattern here. As excited as we are about what has happened in the past year, and what will come, we are most thankful for you, our readers. Those who take their time to read, watch and listen to what we have to say and then give us their feedback. It is the lifeblood of sites like ours. If you don’t respond, then we are just spinning our wheels.
We at Geek Vibes Nation don’t take that for granted and we never will. So thanks again for a great 2019.
