[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”15144″ img_size=”590×350″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Halloween (2018) was well-received by many, prompting the question: will it get a sequel? Which, we know now is happening and it seems that scribe Scott Teems will be the one for the task. Blumhouse had no comment, but sources say that Teems has already presented a treatment that has been well-liked by the company and is officially in talks for the sequel.

Teems has written for Blumhouse before with Firestarter and The Breathing Method. He made his directorial debut in 2009 with The Evening Sun.

Jamie Lee Curtis, Judy Greer, and Andi Matichak are expected to return for the sequel. There’s no word is David Gordon Green will return to direct, but it would make sense considering how he left off with the 2018 version. Although there is no set time for the sequel, Collider guesses that it could come out sometime in 2020. As we find out more, we will let you know, but are you familiar with Teems’ work and are you excited for a Halloween sequel?
