HBO Max is really at the top of their game. One of the best things about the streaming service is the release of films on the streaming service that are also in theaters. Theaters are making a good come, back but for some who are not ready or can’t go to the theater, you will not be left out. December is going to be an awesome month for everyone thanks to HBO Max. What should you be excited about? What we have all been waiting for is The Matrix Resurrections will make its debut on December 22.
There’s also a ton of HBO Max originals that will debut this month and ladies it is our month. First the all-new Sex and the City spin-off And Just Like That…, which reunites Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker), Miranda (Cynthia Nixon), and Charlotte (Kristin Davis). I really wish my mom was still alive to see this. No worries mom I will watch for you. Also to be released is Finding Magic Mike. Are you ready for some NSFW performances? My daughters and I sure are. If your a reader like me be sure to check out Station Eleven, a pandemic-survival drama is based on Emily St. John Mandel’s best-selling novel.
If you haven’t seen the animated film “Ron’s Gone Wrong,” starring Jack Dylan Grazer and Zach Galifianakis, you need to. The film is about a socially awkward middle-schooler named Barney (Grazer), who receives Ron (Zach Galifianakis), a damaged and malfunctioning, digitally connected bot that’s supposed to be his “best friend out of the box.” This is the perfect movie for kids to watch and see how bad being on devices all the time can be and what can happen.
The streaming service has added many exciting titles to its database in December 2021. There are multiple classic movies, like Miss Congeniality, No Country for Old Men, The Wedding Singer, and Chicago. Check out the full list below and have a very happy holiday season.

Mamma, Mimi, Michele, call out any one of those names and I will answer. There are several hats on my shelf. My passions are photography, being outside, movies, tv, pop culture and anything haunted or spooky. People are my other interest, I love meeting new people and socializing. When I lived in Savannah GA I worked as a tour guide both haunted and historical tours. I met people from all over the world, that was the best part of the job. All of this I can write about too, that’s the beauty of being a writer.
