HBO’s Big Little Lies Season Two Expected Sometime in June

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”12621″ img_size=”800×450″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]While HBO has great shows as in Game of Thrones and Westworld, Big Little Lies should not be forgotten. This miniseries brought together Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon, Zoe Kravitz, and Alexander Skarsgard for an explosive first season that earned several awards. With the way that season one ended, we could have written it off as just that, but we are getting a second season and star Nicole Kidman offers some insight on when we can expect to see the upcoming second season.

“June, I think. We’re looking at June. We’re still in the midst of editing it, but, um, thanks for asking ’cause we’re glad that people are excited about it.” Kidman revealed to The Wrap.

Kidman then added:

“The reason we did [a second season] is because audiences were like, ‘You have to do a second season!’”

Returning along with Kidman and Witherspoon are Shailene Woodley, Laura Dern, Zoë Kravitz, Adam Scott, James Tupper, Jeffrey Nordling, Iain Armitage, Kathryn Newton, Robin Weigert, Sarah Sokolovic and Merrin Dungey. And despite Skarsgard’s character’s fate, he’s expected to return one way or the other. Open casket perhaps?

Another big aspect about the second season is that Meryl Streep will be joining as Perry Wright’s mother, which should be awkward considering what happened to her son. Big Little Lies season two is expected to come sometime in June to HBO – have you caught up yet with the first season?[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
