Henry Cavill OUT As SUPERMAN?

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”5638″ img_size=”628×415″ alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_rounded”][vc_column_text]The moment everyone has dreaded is now here. Henry Cavill will no longer play Superman in the DCEU.

After a protentional cameo in the upcoming Shazam fell through, it seems that the actor will no longer be appearing in any future films for the DC Extended Universe. Henry Cavill first became Clark Kent in 2013’s Man of Steel, a film that many, including myself; were still hoping would get a sequel. After appearing in Batman v. Superman and the Justice League, Cavill has gone on to be in successful films such as Mission Impossible: Fallout and will be in The Witcher.

Along with scheduling conflicts, there are rumors that says that says the studio is attempting to hit the “reset” button after some failed projects in the past, mostly due to negative comments from such films as Batman v. Superman and Justice League. There have been rumors for months that Ben Affleck will not reprise his role as Batman, so with this Henry Cavill news it seems that the DCEU is losing both of its leaders.

This is huge news and who knows if they are going to try to recast Superman or if the universe will turn their focus on such films as Shazam, Aquaman, and the highly-anticipated Wonder Woman 1984. There’s even been rumors a Cyborg movie won’t happen and Suicide Squad 2, much to my chagrin; has been pushed back even more. What’s happening to the DCEU?

We’ll keep you updated!
