Earlier this year, fans eager for any information on the upcoming Avengers 4 were rewarded with the leakage of some promotional concept art. This featured the survivors of the Thanos universe cleansing SNAP! at the end of Avengers: Infinity War as well as Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel. Recently, hi-resolution photos of that previously released artwork have found their way online for fans to peruse and speculate on. Five of the these individual character images were uploaded to Fandom’s Marvel Cinematic Universe Wiki page.
Among these images, there is included one of the Hulk in a new outfit. This bodes well for the possibility that our favorite smash monster will come out of hiding and face his Thanos demons. Perhaps he and Banner have had successful couples counseling and worked out their differences. In doing so, it appears the Hulk will don a new silver, grey and purple spandex suit. For the Hulk, who is used to fighting pretty much unencumbered by the need for a wardrobe (not counting his Thor Ragnarok Gladiator ensemble) this will be a change indeed. I guess his normal fighting attire of torn pants and nothing else will have to go to the Superhero Costume Museum. (No there really isn’t one of those, but a man can dream). At least they left some of his signature purple in the outfit as well as grey in homage to his original skin color. (That is purely speculation on my part).
Other noteworthy images include a clean-shaven Steve Rogers, who has passed on his previous Nomad-inspired look from Infinity War in favor of the classic red, white and blue Captain America attire. (Perhaps his original Shield will not be far behind…here’s hoping). Also included was a look at Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel attire, ready to kick some Thanos backside.
So what do you think of the possible new looks for the Avengers, especially the proposed attire for the Hulk?
