On top of having Idris Elba in the film as the main antagonist, sources are now saying that what you see in the trailers does not tell the full story. In fact, there’s an even bigger and badder guy in the movie than Elba, who is looking like a force to be reckoned with.
Sources are saying that the villain you will least expect is Keanu Reeves. It’s not known what his character is, but That Hashtag Show reports that he has ties with Elba’s Brixton and will apparently be revealed towards the end of the scene – or in the end-credit scene as a set up to a sequel. Reeves has John Wick 3 coming out and has been a well-known talented actor for decades, so having someone like him in Hobbs & Shaw would certainly draw attention. How much of a role he has, we’re unaware of that.
