Imprint Films has announced three new titles to join the collection on Blu-Ray this May: Directed By… David Lean (1942-1948), Laurence Olivier’s Shakespeare Trilogy (1944 – 1955), and Film Focus: Carroll Baker (1961 – 1965). These represent three diverse collections from old Hollywood classics.
Imprint Films is a specialty label based out of Australia whose releases can be played in Blu-Ray players worldwide, including U.S. players. All first pressings of each release will have strictly limited-edition deluxe packaging along with new transfers, audio commentaries, exclusive bonus features & more. Synopsis: David Lean is a name synonymous with sweeping epics, the Academy Award-winning director behind The Bridge On The River Kwai, and Lawrence Of Arabia. He was also known for intimate drama and comedy, hand-selected by playwright Noël Coward to bring his most famous works to the big screen.
This set brings together his first six films, including four collaborations with Noël Coward, and two adaptations of beloved novels by Charles Dickens.
