    Imprint Films Announces November Titles Including 4K UHD Debuts From Anthony Hopkins, Guy Pearce & More

    Imprint Films has announced four new titles to join the collection on 4K UHD Blu-Ray in November: The NeverEnding Story (1984), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Convoy (1978), and The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert (1994). These represent a selection of cinematic favorites not to be missed.

    Imprint Films is a specialty label based out of Australia whose releases can be played in Blu-Ray players worldwide, including U.S. players. All first pressings of each release will have strictly limited-edition deluxe packaging along with new transfers, audio commentaries, exclusive bonus features & more.     The Neverending Story (4K UHD + Blu-Ray) (1984)

    Synopsis: Celebrate the 40th Anniversary of one of the most beloved films of all time in this Limited Edition definitive set, a 5-disc journey into the depths of the wonderland world of Fantasia, based on the book by Michael Ende. Our strictly Limited Edition Replica Storybook packaging is crafted with high-quality leatherette, adorned with the iconic Auryn emblem, die-cast metallic ornamentation, red and white ribbons, gold-foiled stamping and embossed detailing exactly as seen in the film. It is magnetically sealed to ensure it stays closed.

    This is a heavy, bespoke collector’s item, measuring 29.5 x 37cm, weighing in at 2.4kg, and comes replete with comprehensive physical extras:

    • an A4 reproduction of the original 1984 Press Kit;
    • a full-colour matte laminated 27″ x 40″ folded print of the original poster;
    • reprints of the original eight lobby cards on 11″ x 14″ card stock, housed in a glossy display folder;
    • a 3D Lenticular Hardcase housing all five discs.

    A Bridge Too Far (4K UHD + Blu-Ray) (1977)

    Synopsis: To commemorate the 80th Anniversary of infamous World War II mission ‘Operation Market Garden’ (September 1944), we are proud to announce the newly scanned and restored 4K UHD release of Richard Attenborough’s 1977 epic, A BRIDGE TOO FAR. Shot on location in the Netherlands, this BAFTA-winning film is one of the great WWII epics, based on the book by Cornelius Ryan, and assembled an enormous league of screen legends: Dirk Bogarde, James Caan, Michael Caine, Sean Connery, Elliott Gould, Edward Fox, Gene Hackman, Anthony Hopkins, Laurence Olivier, Ryan O’Neal, Robert Redford, and Liv Ullmann.

    Convoy (4K UHD + Blu-Ray) (1978)

    Synopsis: Make way for Sam Peckinpah’s 1978 action-comedy, now roaring onto 4K UHD in a NEW 4K restoration. Kris Kristofferson stars as Martin ‘Rubber Duck’ Penwald, forced to go on the run after an encounter with corrupt Sheriff ‘Dirty’ Lyle Wallace (Ernest Borgnine). As other truckers hear the news, the decision is made to form a mile-long ‘convoy’, to take a stand against the abusive sheriff and the problematic 55mp/h speed limit. Teeming with explosive cargo, a highly public standoff escalates to a point of no return…

    Also starring Ali MacGraw, Burt Young, Franklyn Ajaye and Madge Sinclair, this thrilling film was Peckinpah’s most commercially successful venture. Although Peckinpah’s rough cut was rejected by EMI and is now lost, we are proud to include a 115 minute Extended Cut on a bonus Blu-ray disc in our release, featuring five extra minutes of footage.
