    Imprint Television To Release Beloved Sitcoms ‘Gidget’ And ‘Bewitched’ On Blu-Ray This May

    Imprint Television has announced two new titles to join the collection on Blu-Ray in May: Bewitched: Seasons 3 & 4 (1966-1968) and Gidget: The Complete Series (1965). These two whimsical series represent some of the most enduring sitcoms to emerge from the ’60s.

    Imprint is a specialty label based out of Australia whose releases can be played in Blu-Ray players worldwide, including U.S. players. All first pressings of each release will have strictly limited-edition deluxe packaging along with new transfers, audio commentaries, exclusive bonus features & more. These releases will be limited to 1,500 copies only. Details can be found below:

    Bewitched – Seasons 3 & 4 (1966-1968)

    Gidget: The Complete Series (1965)

    Box set of "Gidget: The Complete Series" includes blue-ray cases, a hard cover book, and five colorful discs, each labeled with a different season or part number.Synopsis: SURF’S UP WITH GIDGET IN HIGH-DEFINITION! One of the most memorable TV series of the 60s surfs onto Blu-ray for the first time worldwide! Starring acclaimed Oscar-winning actress Sally Field in one of her earliest screen roles as Francine Elizabeth “Gidget” Lawrence, an irrepressible Southern California teenager who loves to surf and longs for romance. Don Porter stars as her father Russell Lawrence, guiding Gidget through the ups and downs of her teenage life, filled with sand, surf, fun, and plenty of boys. Based on the book by author Frederick Kohner (inspired by the real-life adventures of his own teenage daughter), the Gidget character first took to the big screen in the 1959 movie Gidget and its two sequels, before this 60s series brought her to the small screen. Featuring guest performances from acting greats including Barbara Hershey, Richard Dreyfuss, and Michael York, head back to the carefree beachside of Malibu with the original surfer girl, Gidget.
