Indican Pictures has announced that they will be releasing Ballbuster from director Tom Hines (Mother’s Day) on Digital HD on August 11, and on DVD on September 8, 2020. This comedy stars Jerry O’Connell as a self centered basketball star alongside Elisabeth Röhm (American Hustle), Luenell (Borat), Flex Alexander (Snakes on a Plane), Mark DeCarlo (“Family Guy”) and more.
Synopsis: Ballbuster follows a self-centered basketball star named Rich (O’Connell) whose fame and popularity is waning amongst the league, fans and his family – not only because of his inability to pass the ball, but his consistently bad attitude. A publicity nightmare, the professional league has no choice but to pull a red card and suspend Rich from the Final Championship. If he really wants to make it to game seven, he has to redeem himself by playing with a charity basketball team and keeping his cool during the most bizarre of circumstances. Facing adult babies and angry, abusive mascots, can Rich turn a new leaf to salvage his all-star lifestyle and his relationship with his family?
