Now, judging from the length of his initial script for his version of Batman, I might actually have accomplished it. The Hollywood Reporter recently reported that Reeves first run at The Batman script was 160 pages long. That is a LOT of Batman story. Considering my predilection to be very verbose in my writing, even I might have a problem writing THAT many pages. Ok, that’s not true but for a script, that is quite a bit of pages.
Of course, Reeves is already hard at work revising his script and paring it down to tighten its story. As a matter of creation, it is easier to reduce than it is to expand. That is just my opinion and with a release date now out for the film, Reeves no doubt is fine-tuning his prose for maximum effect.
