[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”18881″ img_size=”800×450″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]There is some interesting developments happening for James Gunn’s take on The Suicide Squad. Recently, it’s been reported that Margot Robbie is, in fact, reprising her role as Harley Quinn, Will Smith’s Deadshot will be replaced by Idris Elba, and Viola Davis may or may not be returning. Besides that, we’re hearing Gunn wants a completely different team is looking at this movie as a relaunch rather than a direct sequel to the 2016 film. So, we’ve all accepted the fact that we wouldn’t really be seeing anyone else return.
But, and we’re running this as a rumor; according to Birth.Movies.Death – Jai Courtney is returning as Captain Boomerang in the film. It isn’t said if he will have a big role or will just be popping up like Robbie will as Harley Quinn, but this is new and unexpected.
“We’re getting ready to shoot in a few months’ time. There’s not much else I can reveal about it but, yeah, you’ll be seeing Boomerang back for sure.”
If Jai is indeed returning, will we see Joel Kinnaman and others jump on board? Is the rumor of the completely new team just a hoax to drive us off a certain path? We don’t know! But, as we find out more, we will inform you![/vc_column_text][vc_video link=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yjozUUNBQPo” align=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
