It’s no secret that Disney’s The Acolyte is pretty controversial. The latest Star Wars live-action show has fans and that’s great. It also has critics and some valid criticism is being brought up. It’s also causing some discourse between people online, but that isn’t what we’re here for today. While it seems like the general consensus is that The Acolyte is bad, it does have its fans and you never know what networks decide to greenlight ahead of time.

In an interview with The Nerdist, showrunner Leslye Headland answered some of the internet’s most pressing questions. Among these questions, The Nerdist asked are we getting a second season?

Check out this excerpt from the interview:

Do you know if you’re definitely getting a season two?

    Headland: No! [big laugh]

    I had to ask.

Headland: I have no idea. Well, not that I have no idea. I would say there are conversations. And I don’t know when that will happen. I don’t know when that decision will be made.

You can read our review for the show here, written by our very own Lane Mills. This Tuesday will mark the end of the show and it’s hard to feel like a second season is warranted.

What do you think? Do you want to see The Acolyte get a second season?
