Is Terrence Howard Retiring from Acting After Empire’s Last Season?

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”29988″ img_size=”900×500″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Terrence Howard is known for many different roles throughout the years. Most recently has been his stint in the popular series Empire. While Howard has a long list of work behind him, it seems that the actor may not be looking for another part after Empire finishes its final season. While on the Red Carpet during the Emmy’s, Howard seemingly alluded to the idea that he’s going to retire after Empire’s end:

“…I mean everyone keeps trying to tell me, ‘Don’t say it’s forever,’ but I’ve spent 37 years pretending to be people, so that people can pretend to watch and enjoy what I’m doing, when I’ve made some discoveries in my own personal life – with the science – that Pythagoras was searching for. I’ve opened up the flower of life properly and found the real wave conjugations that we’ve been looking for, for 10,000 years. Why would I continue walking on water for tips, when I’ve got an entire generation to teach a whole new world.”

What do you make of this? Has Howard discovered a new path to walk in life or is he simply shifting his focus on something else? Perhaps this is a Joaquin Phoenix move to say he’s retiring when promoting a movie? Who knows, but what do you make of Howard’s comments and if he retires from acting, will be you be sad to see him go?
