IT: Chapter Two Gets a “R” Rating for “Some Crude Sexual Material”

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”27091″ img_size=”800×450″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]IT: Chapter Two has received an R rating, but it should not come as any surprise. The previous IT movie from 2017 also had an R rating. The original Andy Muschietti from 2017 received its rating due to “violence/horror, bloody images, and for language.”

The sequel though has gained its rating for: “disturbing violent content and bloody images throughout, pervasive language, and some crude sexual material.”

I can think of the fact that this sequel has gained a harder “R” rating due to the fact that Muschietti is working with adult actors for this film. The previous movie had mostly child actors, so it’s understandable that there wouldn’t be anything with “crude sexual material”. This probably means we can expect an even bloodier film than before.

IT: Chapter Two brings in Jessica Chastain, James McAvoy, Bill Hader, Isaiah Mustafa, Jay Ryan, James Ransone, and Andy Bean. Joining them is the original crew: Jaeden Martell, Wyatt Oleff, Jack Dylan, Finn Wolfhard, Sophia Lillis, Chosen Jacobs, and Jeremy Ray Taylor.

IT: Chapter Two hits theaters on September 6 of this year.
