I don’t want it to deny that we are, as human beings, emotional characters and that Superman is also that.”
Furthermore, Gunn’s previous statements about casting an actor who possesses “humanity,” “compassion,” and a sense of comfort akin to a “hug” reaffirm his commitment to crafting a relatable and empathetic Superman.
