Japanese wrestling sensation Giulia will soon become one of the female faces of WWE NXT. However, her anticipated move to the United States has hit a snag due to a fractured wrist sustained during a tag match at Marigold’s premiere event. Giulia revealed to Tokyo Sports that she will undergo surgery to repair the injury, ensuring her participation in Marigold’s July 13 event against Sareee.

Reflecting on the injury, Giulia said, “That day, my arm bent in the wrong direction, and as a result, I broke it. I was told that having surgery would be the quickest way to recover, and I made the decision because I wanted to be in top condition to play against Sareee.”
The 30-year-old remains optimistic despite her first hospitalization or surgery in her five-plus year career, planning to spend her recovery time watching movies and wrestling videos. Giulia will have surgery on May 28, following her admission to the hospital on May 27.
Giulia’s resilience and dedication underline her determination to excel in her upcoming ventures, both in Japan and potentially in WWE NXT. Fans and critics alike eagerly anticipate her return to the ring and eventual debut in the U.S. wrestling scene.
Fans have pointed to July 7th’s NXT Heatwave Event as a likely target date for Giulia’s official start date with WWE.
